Zusammenfassung

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Critical Care IMCU unit. The position offers 36-hour rotating nights in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment within the Medical Step Down unit.

You will deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support outcomes. The role requires MA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS where applicable, 1+ year experience, and a nursing degree (Diploma/ASN/BSN).

Qualifikationen

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as an RN in Massachusetts.
• 1+ years RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), with BSN obtainable within 4 years.
• Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty; certification may be required for certain practice areas.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fluency in another language is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization.
• Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects.
