Qualifications

• Must hold active Massachusetts RN license or license eligible.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required in some units.
• Diploma, ASN, or BSN in nursing; BSN preferred with plan to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care unit (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, education).
• Collaborate with healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional staff.
• Update and manage patient records; enter data in electronic systems.
• Adhere to policies established by BMC nursing leadership and quality guidelines.
• Support leadership in quality improvement initiatives.
