Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit (MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick). The unit includes 14 beds, with EKG interpretation, central line care, Bi-pap and high flow oxygen support, and bedside procedures.

The role requires critical thinking, delegation, and strong time management while collaborating with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.
