Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at the MetroHealth Main Campus - Glick location. The unit handles 14 beds and supports patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, requiring skilled bedside care, EKG interpretation, and advanced airway/ventilatory support.

Role collaborates with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapy teams. Bi-weekly hours total 72, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS certification (AHA) or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.
