Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus, Glick, seeks an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). You will monitor acutely ill patients, interpret EKGs, manage ventilator support, and assist with high-level bedside procedures.

Join a team that collaborates with PCNAs, interns, and providers to ensure patient safety and quality of care on rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (within 90 days of hire).
• ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess required certifications at hire.

Responsibilities

• EKG interpretation.
• Central line care.
• Rescue BiPAP, high flow oxygen, Trach/Vents.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Critical thinking, delegating, time management.
