Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a registered nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at the Main Campus. You will provide expert care for patients requiring close monitoring, vasoactive support, and complex respiratory therapies in a high-acuity environment.

Ideal candidates hold Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and prefer BSN or Magnet-certified credentials. PRN applicants welcome with 1 year of relevant RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• ACLS certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Perform and monitor invasive procedures and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure patient safety and timely interventions.
