Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at the MetroHealth Main Campus. You will provide patient-centered care, interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and support advanced respiratory therapies in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS certification (AHA) or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on the CCU Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Monitor patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, Sepsis.
• Perform/assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Interpret EKGs, manage central lines and respiratory supports.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
