Job summary

MetroHealth's Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West in Cleveland, OH is seeking a qualified RN to join a 14-bed unit. You will provide direct patient care for populations including CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, with a focus on critical thinking, timely interventions, and teamwork.

You'll work rotating Day/Night shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays, and collaborate with PCNAs, providers, and rehabilitation staff to deliver high-quality care while pursuing professional growth with strong

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Monitor patient status and respond to alarms and changes in condition.
• Assist with bedside procedures and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Providers, PT and OT.
• Maintain documentation, ensure safety and high-quality patient outcomes.
