Job summary
MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. The role focuses on patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis, using telemetry, central line care and advanced nursing technologies.
Location: MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick; Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a; Bi-weekly hours 72; Rotating weekends and holidays. This unit requires critical thinking, time management and teamwork with PCNAs, providers and therapists
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio.
- BLS and ACLS certifications current or obtained within specified timelines.
- PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Care for CCSDU patients with heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis.
- Perform and assist with bedside procedures and reviews.
- Collaborate with PCNAs, providers and therapists; manage patient care plans.
- Utilize telemetry and assist with ventilation support as needed.
