Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is hiring for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. Join our team of skilled RNs delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a Level One Trauma setting on rotating shifts.

This role requires Ohio RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and experience in critical care; you will interpret EKGs, manage central lines, assist with procedures, and support patient care with strong critical thinking and time management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a program seeking accreditation.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) with a focus on high-quality patient care.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac status; manage central lines and ventilatory support.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and support interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, effective delegation, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
