Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at the MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick location. The role entails caring for patients with multiple critical conditions and requires strong clinical skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, Providers.
• Assist with bedside procedures and monitor patients.
• Utilize EKG interpretation and central line care during shifts.
