Job summary

MetroHealth seeks an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at MetroHealth Main Campus—Glick. Bi-weekly hours are 72 with rotating 12-hour shifts (7a–7p/7p–7a) and rotating weekends/holidays. You will work with PCNAs, interns, and providers in a 14-bed unit caring for CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.

Qualifications include Ohio RN licensure, BLS (within 90 days), ACLS (within 6 months); PRN requires 1 year RN experience and certifications on hire. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
