Firelands Health in Sandusky, OH is seeking an experienced RN for Critical Care. This full-time, on-site role operates 7a–7p with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio (some 1:1) and includes a $5,000 retention bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR.
• Prefer at least 1 year of experience.
• ACLS, Basic EKG, and ECCO required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
• CCRN and TNCC certification is preferred within 2 years in area of expertise.
• Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process with patients per physicians orders.
• Performs assessments and documents care plans and findings to physicians.
• Instructs patients and family members for safe discharge.
• Responds to emergencies and maintains meds and supplies.
• Demonstrates service excellence and acts as an ambassador for Firelands Health.
