Job summary

Firelands Health in Sandusky, OH is seeking a dedicated RN for Critical Care on a full-time night shift (7p-7a). The role focuses on delivering high-quality care, collaborating with physicians, and supporting patients and families in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer orders, monitor patient status, and document care while upholding Firelands standards of care. Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license, CPR, and preferred ICU/CCU exposure.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care.
• Prefer at least 1 year of experience.
• Current ACLS, Basic EKG, and ECCO required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• CCRN and TNCC preferred within 2 years in area of expertise.
• Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process with patients including carrying out physicians orders.
• Performs assessments; monitors and documents nursing interventions.
• Instructs patients, staff, and family regarding treatments and care.
• Responds to emergencies; maintains medications and supplies.
• Demonstrates service excellence and acts as an ambassador for FRMC.
