Job summary

Firelands Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN, Registered Nurse for Critical Care on a full-time, 7a-7p shift. The role is on-site in Sandusky, OH, with a retention bonus and a strong emphasis on patient-centered critical care.

The nurse will implement care plans, monitor patients, educate families, and respond to emergencies while maintaining high standards of practice and teamwork.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio required.
• ACLS, Basic EKG, ECCO required or to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Implements nursing process with patients, following physician orders and Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments and documents interventions; monitors patient status and communicates with physicians.
• Instructs patients and families on treatments and care for safe discharge.
• Responds to emergencies; maintains medication and supply readiness; ensures equipment cleanliness.
• Demonstrates service excellence and acts as ambassador for Firelands Health.
