Mercy Hospital seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across all respiratory care services according to physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for the care team.

This role offers flexible shifts (4, 8, or 12 hours) with day or night options and no weekend or holiday requirements in the St. Louis area. RN staff collaboration and ongoing clinical support are emphasized.

Qualificações

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the NBRC.
• ACLS is required.
• PALS required for ER staff.

Responsabilidades

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
