Medical Solutions Direct Hire seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our acute-care team in Peoria, IL. This permanent, full‑time role focuses on adult and critical care, providing hands‑on respiratory care across ICU, ED, and general floors according to evidence‑based standards.

The successful candidate will hold NBRC credentials (RRT), BLS, and have licensure in Illinois or be actively pursuing it.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current NBRC credentials (RRT) and Illinois licensure or active licensure process.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform respiratory care within applicable acts and regulations.
• Deliver treatments and therapies as ordered, including oxygen delivery and airway management.
• Initiate, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilation and advanced modes as appropriate.
• Serve as the primary airway manager during emergencies and rapid responses.
• Assess patients and document care per regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, especially in ICU and ED.
• Monitor equipment and supply levels for patient care areas.
