Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time position in Peoria, IL. The role involves providing high-quality, evidence-based respiratory care to patients across all ages, operating ventilators and airway devices, administering medications, and delivering comprehensive respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.

A strong collaborative approach with physicians and nurses is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Current state license or eligibility within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS required for Airway Manager or Transport roles.
• Experience with EMR documentation and care delivery.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care per protocol and physician orders.
• Administer medical gases and aerosolized medications.
• Operate mechanical ventilators and other life-support equipment.
• Perform airway clearance therapies and oxygen titration.
• Evaluate patient response and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document all care and interventions in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and home care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize treatment.
