Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy team on a part-time, rotating shift.

You will perform respiratory assessments, manage ventilators and provide bronchoscopy support, with mentorship and ongoing professional development opportunities. Saint Alphonsus emphasizes work-life balance and patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice respiratory care in Idaho or Oregon.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire; ACLS or PALS may be accepted in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessment, airway and ventilator management, and pulmonary diagnostics.
• Deliver medicated aerosols, bronchial hygiene therapy, and lung expansion therapy; assist bronchoscopy.
• Routinely round with physicians in critical care; act as preceptor and contribute to staff development.
• Perform arterial line insertions, ABG sampling, ABG analysis and interpretation.
• Complete all mandatory training on time and adhere to departmental policies and physician protocols.
