Job summary

Atrium Health in Concord, NC seeks a registered respiratory therapist to deliver and monitor oxygen delivery and ventilator support across patient care areas. You will perform prescribed therapies, document results, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The position requires NBRC-credentialed RRT, state licensure, BLS, and advanced certification per department; BSRT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Currently licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner/Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required.
• Advanced certification per facility/department.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and equipment and conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures.
• Administers and monitors respiratory therapies, understanding purposes, benefits, and potential effects.
• Initiates, monitors and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Evaluates current therapies and recommends plans of care and patient education.
