Job summary

Navicent Health Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care across departments. You will manage oxygen delivery, therapies, and ventilators, documenting results and collaborating with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications include NBRC-credentialed RRT, state licensure, and BLS certification. Associate degree required; BSRT preferred. Two years of critical care experience is preferred for ED roles.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate degree in respiratory therapy required; BA/BS preferred.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC credential; state license required.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required.
• 2 years critical care experience for ED; new grads with RRT credential are eligible.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and related equipment.
• Administers prescribed respiratory procedures and assesses outcomes.
• Initiates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilation.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the care team.
• Demonstrates safety and regulatory compliance with respiratory care.
