Job summary

Duke Life Flight is seeking a Paramedic III to join our on-site team in Henderson, NC, supporting both ground and air transports. The role requires Critical Care Paramedic expertise and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-level emergency care.

The position offers nights shifts (7p–7a) with rotation between Henderson, NC and Durham, NC. A commitment bonus may apply, along with relocation assistance per terms and conditions.

Qualifications

• Proven ALS experience in emergency transport.
• Experience delivering care in a critical care transport setting.
• Ability to work effectively with Interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, and EMTs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during ground and air transports.
• Perform comprehensive primary and secondary assessments and adjust care plans.
• Operate advanced life support equipment within scope of practice.
• Maintain patient safety and stable transfer throughout transport.
• Coordinate with Medical Control and on-scene teams to ensure continuity of care.
