Catholic Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Educator in Critical Care to shape patient care through evidence-based nursing education and professional development. This role partners with hospital leadership to design and implement education programs for nursing and allied staff at the Manchester facility.

The role emphasizes onboarding, competency evaluation, and ongoing professional growth, with opportunities to influence practice standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership is preferred.
• 2+ years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
• RN licensure in state of practice or compact license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Participates in onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other staff.
• Provides orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention.
• Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust programs based on evaluation results.
• Develops and manages competency activities for staff.
• Designs educational activities to address practice gaps for licensed and non-licensed personnel.
• Plans content delivery to promote learner engagement and outcomes.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and participates in research, EBP, and quality improvement.
• Identifies opportunities for lifelong learning and professional growth.
