Job summary

Advocate Health's 34208 High Point Medical Center - Nursing Education is seeking a Clinical Educator to coordinate and conduct education for nursing staff across critical care services. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN required.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 3 years' clinical experience in a critical care environment.
• CCRN certification preferred, encouraged to obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teaches and demonstrates proficiency in patient assessment skills and nursing care.
• Reinforces policies, procedures, and guidelines with nursing staff.
• Coordinates unit rounds and bedside reporting with the Nurse Manager and Case Manager.
• Provides service line education programs and competency activities with preceptors and NPDS.
• Monitors attendance rosters and ensures ongoing professional growth.
• Collaborates to design orientation and annual needs assessment education plans.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment and addresses nurse-sensitive indicators.
