Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital in Delaware seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for a fast-paced MICU role. This full-time flex position (36 hrs/week) includes night shifts with day rotation, delivering high-acuity patient care with a collaborative team.

You will provide expert bedside care, collaborate with physicians and specialists, advocate for patients and families, and employ advanced monitoring to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
