Job summary

ChristianaCare's MICU team at Christiana Hospital in Delaware is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit. This full-time flex role (36 hrs/week) features a night shift with day shift rotations and is based at Christiana Hospital.

You will provide expert care for critically ill patients, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients and families, and utilize advanced monitoring to improve outcomes in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• BSN is required; ADN considered only with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
