Qualifications

• Post-high school education or vocational training in healthcare.
• Previous healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Coordinating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Creating, maintaining, and preparing patient records and documentation.
• Entering provider orders into the electronic medical record.
• Monitoring patient telemetry screens and communicating changes or alarms to the appropriate care team members.
• Supporting nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary teams with daily patient care operations.
• Maintaining unit supplies, equipment, and organization.
• Assisting with compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing patient care needs throughout the shift.
