Job summary

Logan Health seeks a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to support our ICU and PCU operations. You will coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient records, serving as a central hub for patients, providers, nurses, and ancillary teams.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and calmness in a fast-paced critical care setting. Preferred certifications include BLS and Telemetry; Montana Notary may be required within three months of hire; schedule is Night Shift, 36

Qualifications

• Post-high school education or vocational training in healthcare.
• Experience with EMR and medical terminology preferred.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Creating and maintaining patient records and documentation
• Entering provider orders into the electronic medical record
• Monitoring telemetry and communicating changes to the care team
• Supporting nurses and physicians in daily operations
• Maintaining unit supplies and equipment
