Job summary

Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative is seeking a Staff Nurse for the FP float pool at Bronx, NY. The RN will float to units across the organization based on need and competencies, maintaining nursing standards and participating in improvement activities.

A two-year commitment is required. Must have NYS RN license, 2 years ICU RN experience, and BLS. BSN preferred; infection control training and specialty certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license and registration.
• Two years ICU RN experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training required.
• Infection Control Training required.
• Certification in specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float pool RN assigned to units based on need and competencies.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice per ANA and Montefiore policies.
• Provide direct patient care and participate in performance improvement activities.
