Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• NYS Registered Professional Nurse license and registration required.
• Two years ICU RN experience required.
• Basic Life Support Training is required.
• Infection Control Training is required.
• Certification in specialty preferred.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.
• Two-year commitment to this float pool position.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrates leadership in coordinating and delivering patient care.
• Ensures 100% of assigned patients have a documented plan of care.
• Delegates aspects of care to team members within scope of practice.
• Maintains documentation reflecting interdisciplinary approach per policy.
• Initiates teaching and discharge planning within 24 hours of admission.
• Participates in daily IDT rounds and contributes to care planning.
