Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to provide direct patient care across multiple units. You will apply nursing knowledge and compassionate care to support patients and families.

The role requires TN RN licensure, current BLS, ACLS within 6 months of hire, and preferred 2 years of clinical nursing experience; you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will assess plans and evaluate the patients' care needs and will carry out physician orders.
• You will administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleans wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• You will monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• You will instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team
