Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Float Pool at the Worcester campus. This on-site, full-time role offers 36 hours per week across night shifts (7pm–7:30am) with a $6,000 sign-on bonus for external hires.

Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process, and coordinating care plans within a high-acuity critical care setting. MA RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
