Job summary

UMass Memorial Health’s Registered Nurse in the Acute Care Float Pool is based at Worcester, MA. This full-time, 36-hour weekly night-shift position uses the nursing process to deliver direct patient care across units from admission to discharge.

The ideal candidate holds Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS, and preferably a BSN; strong assessment, coordination, and collaboration with care teams are essential. This role supports a patient-centered, respectful care environment.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure/registration required.
• BLS certification required for all RNs.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with acute care and float pool is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.

• Supervise and coordinate care within the unit.
