Air Methods CBS is seeking a Registered Nurse with 3+ years of critical care experience for flight-based EMS in Thermal, CA. You will provide advanced care during helicopter transport, ensure safety, and collaborate with pilots and medical teams.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to CBS Medical Director standards, ongoing education, and maintaining equipment readiness in a fast-paced aviation-physician setting.

Formación

  • RN licensure in state(s) of practice.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent critical care/emergency nursing.
  • Flight experience not required but preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide high-quality critical care during transport and ensure safety.
  • Perform patient assessment, triage, and treatment per CBS Medical Director standards.
  • Maintain thorough patient care documentation and complete mission reports.
  • Keep medical equipment and supplies onboard aircraft ready and functional.
  • Attend pre-mission briefings/debriefings and assist pilots as needed.
  • Support education, outreach, and orientation for new staff.
