Job summary

Mercy Health in Lima, OH, seeks a Dispatcher for the LACP Lima Dispatch to coordinate ground and air critical services. You will receive requests, determine response, and enter data in the dispatch system.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred). FEMA ICS 100/200, BLS, EMD within allotted times; 1 year EMS/public safety dispatch experience preferred; benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of EMS or healthcare/public safety dispatch experience preferred.
• FEMA ICS certifications (100/200) required within 6 months; BLS within 6 months; EMD within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for ground/air critical services and determine appropriate response.
• Enter information in the CAD system and dispatch appropriate units.
• Coordinate patient placement and maintain records and billing paperwork.
