Qualifications

• Specialized experience in emergency dispatch and EMS procedures.
• One year of specialized experience at the GS-05 level or equivalent.
• Experience handling 911 calls and using dispatch systems.
• Ability to obtain CPR and Emergency Medical Dispatch certifications within timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced EMD life support instructions to callers over the phone.
• Operate and maintain dispatch equipment and related systems.
• Prepare and maintain reports and records of emergency responses.
• Work an alternate schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
