Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required
• Master's degree in nursing preferred
• 2+ years of clinical education experience required
• 3+ years of experience in acute care hospital required
• 3+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership preferred
• Currently licensed as applicable to education in the state of practice
• Basic Life Saving (BLS) required
• Specialty certification as recognized by the American Nurse Credentialing Center required

Responsibilities

• Provides orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention.
• Conducts orientation in a positive learning environment.
• Identifies learning needs of the identified specialty staff.
• Develops activities to address deficits or opportunities for improvement.
• Plans educational content with learner engagement.
• Assesses practice gaps.
• Collaborates with the clinical education team to evaluate and adjust programs.
• Supports lifelong learning and the novice-to-expert staff development continuum.
