Job summary

TFI Family Services in Pittsburg, KS, is hiring a full-time Crisis Specialist Supervisor with a Bachelor’s degree in human services and preferred two years’ experience in Child Welfare. You will supervise Crisis Support Workers and coordinate with other agencies to support Permanency Services.

The role includes after-hours coverage, staff meetings, trainings, and advocacy for children. Benefits include flexible scheduling, some remote work, 20 days of personal leave and 12 holidays; tuition

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Crisis Support Workers assigned to each area Monday through Friday from 1pm to 10pm and on call as needed.
• Crisis Support Workers provide after-hours and weekend on-call support to the staff in the Permanency Services Program.
• Promotes the well-being of children in the Permanency Program, participates in staff meetings and trainings and coordinates with staff from other agencies involved in providing Permanency Services.

A Day in The Life as a Crisis Specialist Supervisor

As a Crisis Specialist Supervisor, you supervise the Crisis Support Workers assigned to each area Monday through Friday from 1pm to 10pm and on call as needed.
