Job summary

TFI Family Services, Inc. in Fort Scott, KS is seeking a full-time Crisis Specialist Supervisor. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in the human services field from an accredited university and prefers two years’ experience in Child Welfare.

The Crisis Specialist Supervisor will oversee Crisis Support Workers, coordinate with Permanency Services, and participate in staff trainings while supporting families by connecting them with community resources and advocating for children's well-being.

We are looking for a full-time Crisis Specialist Supervisor to add to our team! You must have a Bachelor’s degree in the human services field from an accredited university. Preferred two (2) years’ experience in Child Welfare.

A Day in The Life as a Crisis Specialist Supervisor

As a Crisis Specialist Supervisor, you supervise the Crisis Support Workers assigned to each area Monday through Friday from 1pm to 10pm and on call as needed. Crisis Support Workers provide after-hours and weekend on-call support to the staff in the Permanency Services Program. Promotes the well-being of children in the Permanency Program, participates in staff meetings and trainings and coordinates with staff from other agencies involved in providing Permanency Services. committees and work-groups.
