Job summary

TFI Family Services is seeking a Crisis Specialist Supervisor to lead Crisis Support Workers and ensure after-hours coverage for the Permanency Services Program. You will supervise a team, coordinate with partner agencies, and promote children’s well-being through community resource linkage.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in human services and preferred two years in Child Welfare, with opportunities for flexible scheduling and remote work as part of a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services is required.
• Two years’ experience in Child Welfare preferred.
• Experience supervising staff or teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Crisis Support Workers assigned to each area, Monday–Friday 1pm–10pm and on-call as needed.
• Coordinate with other agencies involved in Permanency Services.
• Promote well-being of children and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Engage with families to connect them with community resources and support services.

We are looking for a full‑time Crisis Specialist Supervisor to add to our team! You must have a Bachelor’s degree in the human services field from an accredited university. Preferred two (2) years’ experience in Child Welfare.

A Day in The Life as a Crisis Specialist

As a Crisis Specialist Supervisor, you supervise the Crisis Support Workers assigned to each area Monday through Friday from 1pm to 10pm and on call as needed. Crisis Support Workers provide after‑hours and weekend on‑call support to the staff in the Permanency Services Program. Promotes the well‑being of children in the Permanency Program, participates in staff meetings and trainings and coordinates with staff from other agencies involved in providing Permanency Services. committees and work‑groups.
