Job summary

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton is seeking a MRSS Coordinator to assist the Program Director in managing and supervising daily clinical operations. You will work evenings and on-call shifts to ensure crisis interventions for children and families in crisis, following established protocols.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, ongoing training, and ensuring staff are certified in the Crisis Assessment Tool (CAT).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field.
• License (LSW/LAC) required (LCSW or LPC preferred).
• A minimum of three years’ experience working with children/youth.
• Be flexible to work evening and weekend schedules in addition to emergency response coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director in managing day-to-day operations of MRSS.
• Oversee daily operations of the program (1p to 9p) and on-call coverage as needed.
• Ensure clinicians provide crisis interventions following the CSOC model and protocols.
• Maintain certification for the Crisis Assessment Tool (CAT) and yearly recertification.
• Develop staffing patterns to support 24/7 crisis response.
• Provide clinical supervision and staff training for program staff.
• Coordinate state-required staff trainings with NJ and Catholic Charities.
