Job summary

AOC Outreach Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Crisis Program in Dallas, TX. The RN will provide health literacy counseling, administer medications, and collaborate with QMHPs, therapists, and prescribers to stabilize clients in crisis and connect them with ongoing care.

This role requires strong communication, clinical nursing skills in crisis settings, and commitment to ethical, client-centered care. Evening or weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
• At least one year of clinical experience involving medication management and client education; crisis or behavioral health experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate clients about health conditions, treatment plans, and medications to support understanding and adherence.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for adverse effects; support adherence.
• Coordinate care with QMHPs, therapists, and case managers during and after crises to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate client records and prepare documentation for treatment team meetings and regulatory compliance.
