Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Crisis team at the CSU. The RN will provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to individuals in mental health crises in a 16-bed, 24-hour program.

Requirements include an active Colorado RN license, ADN or higher, and basic EMR proficiency. Flexible scheduling and weekend coverage options support a balance between work and personal commitments.

Qualifications

• ADN required; Colorado RN license required.
• One year of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to administer medications and injections.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn/use EMR.

Responsibilities

• Support medical and clinical functions of the team; communicate vital patient care information.
• Screen potential clients for admission and perform nursing assessments.
• Document patient condition and treatment in EMR.
• Administer medications and injections within scope of practice.
• Contribute to treatment planning and provide education on medications.
