Job summary

AOC Outreach Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Crisis Program in Dallas, TX. The RN will provide health literacy counseling, medication administration, and hands-on nursing support for individuals and families in crisis, coordinating with QMHPs, therapists, and prescribers to connect clients with ongoing treatment.

Responsibilities include education sessions, documentation, and collaboration with the crisis team to ensure safe and effective care in various settings,

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current, active RN license in the State of Texas.
• At least one year of clinical experience involving medication management and client education.

Responsibilities

• Health Literacy Counseling & Client Education: Educate clients about health conditions, treatment plans, and medications to build understanding and adherence.
• Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions or side effects.
• Crisis & Care Coordination: Coordinate care with QMHPs, therapists, and case managers to ensure continuity of care.
• Documentation & Professional Development: Maintain accurate client records and participate in ongoing training.
