Job summary

Catholic Community Services in Washington state operates a 24/7 residential facility. The Residential Services Coordinator supports daily crisis management, milieu relationships, and safe building operations at Francis Place, serving highly vulnerable, chronically homeless adults, as part of the 24/7 support staff.

The role requires coordinating outside services, outreach to resistant residents, facilitating on-site activities, and ensuring proper log maintenance and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals displaying challenging behaviors.
• Must be available to work some evening and weekend shifts.
• Ability to learn crisis intervention skills and behavior management.
• WA State Driver’s License/ WA State I.D. required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with residents in Francis Place common areas.
• Coordinate and facilitate outside services with residents.
• Provide outreach and engagement to service-resistant residents.
• Initiate and promote on-site recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure lobby office functions run efficiently, including checking visitors and monitoring security.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with Supervisors as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and pass on information during shift overlaps.
• Address resident complaints and coordinate with partners as needed.
• Assess resident requests for maintenance, lease issues, or rent payments.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and trainings.
• Provide transportation to residents as needed.
