Job summary

Crisis Connections is seeking a Crisis Services Clinician in Seattle to provide risk assessment oversight and crisis intervention across multiple service areas. You will coach CSS and CIS during live calls, develop crisis intervention plans, and coordinate with community resources to ensure caller safety and appropriate referrals.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed communication, accurate documentation, and collaboration with other clinicians and paraprofessionals on shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold WA Mental Health Professional credential (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT/ARNP or equivalent).
• Experience with crisis lines, risk assessment and safety planning.
• Proven ability to document accurately in electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CSS and CIS during scheduled shifts and provide coaching.
• Assess behavioral health and suicide risk, de-escalate crises, and plan safety steps.
• Ensure timely documentation and linkage to appropriate services.
• Provide professional consultation on crisis intervention to callers.
• Maintain QA processes and collaborate with clinical staff.
