Job summary

Community Care Network in Rutland, Vermont, seeks a Peer Emergency Services Specialist to join our 24/7 crisis services team. You will provide peer support, group facilitation, and emotion regulation coaching to adults and youth, drawing on lived experience to foster hope and reduce stigma.

Work closely with Emergency Services Team to build recovery plans, coordinate with community resources, and support individuals and families in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Maintain state certification as it evolves, completing all additional trainings and/or exam requirements in a timely fashion.
• Ability to work alternative work schedules, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of HIPAA standards and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to clients through 24/7 crisis services program.
• Act as role model, advocate and support system for peers.
• Help clients articulate personal recovery goals and develop crisis/recovery plans.
• Document all service contacts timely and accurately in EMR.
• Participate in trainings, staff meetings and community education activities.
