Job summary

Monarch Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Director of Operations, Crisis to oversee the facility-based crisis program. You will lead operations, staff development, budgeting, and external relationships to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

You’ll partner with the Senior Director of Crisis Services, manage daily workflows, and ensure 24-hour coverage while coordinating with clinicians, budgets, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing and RN licensure or higher clinical qualifications required.
• Master’s degree in a human services field with LCMHC/LCAS/LMFT/LCSW/LCAS/LMS licensure pathways.
• Doctoral PsyD or related licensure as applicable per job description.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of facility-based crisis centers.
• Lead staff development, budgeting, and quality initiatives.
• Ensure 24-hour coverage and coordinate with providers and departments.
• Supervise staff including hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Act as EHR super user and ensure timely data entry and corrections.
• Maintain safe equipment, meds, labs, and emergency notifications.
• Prepare budgets and monthly financial reports with leadership.
• Investigate complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate staff training and disaster preparedness.
• Participate in meetings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Travel as required; drive responsibilities may apply.
