Sacramento Children’s Home in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Child Care Worker-Transporter to support daily care for children in our Crisis Nursery. You will supervise, provide meals, administer medications, and help with transport and intake/discharge processes.

The role requires a valid CA driver's license, own vehicle, high school diploma or GED, and ability to work Monday–Friday with a 9:00am–5:00pm schedule. Excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a valid CA driver’s license and access to own vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in licensed group home or infant care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with children 0-5 and families.

Aufgaben

• Ensure the safety of the children at all times.
• Provide supervision and care for children individually and in groups.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed or recorded in the child’s chart.
• Perform housekeeping tasks including dishes, laundry, cleaning, and inventory.
• Provide transportation for parents and children to nursery locations.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain documentation per program requirements.
• Attend trainings and site meetings as required.
• Interact with families during intakes and discharges.
