Sacramento Children's Home is seeking an Awake Lead Child Care Worker to supervise the Crisis Nursery during the overnight shift. You will ensure safety, supervise staff, and maintain the environment in accordance with licensing standards.

The role requires strong English communication, knowledge of early childhood development, and the ability to lead a team while responding to crises and maintaining standards for child care and safety.

Qualifikationen

• Requires ability to read, write and understand English.
• Knowledge of child development for ages 0–5.
• Ability to provide work direction and feedback to staff.
• Ability to implement crisis de-escalation and safety procedures.

Aufgaben

• Lead and supervise CCW staff, directing shift tasks.
• Ensure safety and supervision of children per ratios and regulations.
• Communicate admission, discharge, illness or incident needs to supervisor.
• Oversee meals, bedtime, hygiene, and activities for children.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of Nursery environments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed per chart.
